If you are a high school senior expecting to graduate in the Spring you likely want to secure all the financial support you can to go toward your next level of education. Scholars of American Liberty (SOAL) is a nonprofit in Yakima, WA providing $2000 scholarships for high school seniors.
Here’s how it works. SOAL offers a free American Government & Politics course which is presented one Saturday per month, for 4-5 hours per class, during the 9 months of the school year from September to May. Students who invest the time, effort and study required to pass the course and
submit proof of college or vocational school acceptance, will receive a scholarship.
The classes will cover a wide range of topics essential to understanding the founding of the country including the enlightened thought that produced the vision of freedom, the documents of freedom and governance, the Supreme Court cases that shape the nation, and the political philosophies and ideas that affect daily life in America today.
